Scribe Post Marc Chapter 3 9/11/09

Hey everyone!

So today we came to class and took our Daily Quiz. for this one, Jojo had us draw a diagram of a transversal and label all of the verticle angles, corresponding angles, alternate interior angles, alternate exterior angles, and supplementary angles.

Then, we did some review. Jojo showed us an online site that has all kinds of little quizzes on it that can help us study. Its nice and colorful, and has some of the information we have gone over. As we were on that site, we reviewed angles. He gave us a bit of new information: The sum of the measurements of all the angles in a polygon are 360 degrees. He said we should know that, and it might be on the test. Jojo also gave us several problems off the site, and showed us how the site works. All of the information he went over today in class is on the site.

Jojo then gave us a worksheet on transversals. The problems range from identifying a transversal to finding the measure of an angle using given measurements on a transversal. I have thus far found the worksheet to be somewhat dificult. I think it will help me for the test, though. He told us at the end of class to finish it over the weekend as homework and to have it completed by monday.
